Downloadable free resources for teaching writing
especially for Writing Points subscribers

Below is a list of resources Writing Points subscribers may download free. I specified length only if the download is more than three pages.

All the materials are PDFs. You will need Adobe Reader or FoxIt Reader to view them. Both readers are available free.

For convenience, I've divided the resources into categories according to the group most likely to use them. However, any subscriber can download any material listed here.

Intellectual property copyright note:

You may make copies of the documents listed here for your personal use; however, you may not provide copies to others. That means, among other things, that it is illegal to share a copy of material you download here with someone who is not a Writing Points subscriber. (Anyone get it free by becoming a subscriber).

It is also illegal to post or link to any of these resources on a website, blog, wiki, bulletin board, Facebook, Twitter, etc. where the materials can be downloaded or viewed by someone other than yourself and your students.

Materials intended for student use, such as writing prompts, include directions on how to use them without violating any intellectual property laws.
