Share your worst (or best) experience
in your teaching writing career
If you've been teaching writing more than 20 minutes, you have
a story about a year, a class, or a student that pushed you to the
edge.
Maybe you had a student who was turned-off, struggling, learning
disabled, or just plain ornery.
Maybe you had one of those classes that sat like lumps no matter
what you did.
Maybe your struggle was with parents or (gasp!) administrators.
Whatever your story, your fellow sufferers would love to hear what
happened.
We might laugh a little (we're human, after all), but we will feel
your pain. And we'd love to hear what you learned from your experience.
Would you handle the situation differently today than you
did then?
Or course, we'd be happy to hear good stories, too. (Sigh). Those
don't seem to happen as often.
